The Haudenosaunee Nationals dropped a tough one to Canada 18-5 in their first ever semifinal appearance at the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in front of 1,457 fans at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium. Despite the scoring margin, Haudenosaunee battled but ultimately could not stall two big scoring runs for Canada, 8-1 in the first half and 8-0 in the second half. The National offense was led by two goals from Avery Doran, one goal and one assist from Sierra Cockerille, and one goal each from Lois Garlow and Paisley Cook. Paige Crandall finished with eight saves on the day. 

The Haudenosaunee Nationals made history as they defeated England 10-9 in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship at Oi Stadium. The win puts the Nationals in the semifinals for the first time ever and guarantees the women’s program their best finish ever at a World Championship since they started competing in 2009. Their previous best finish was seventh place in 2013. 

The Haudenosaunee offense was once again led by Avery Doran with three goals and two assists, including the game-winning goal with 5.5 seconds remaining. Jalyn Jimerson added a hat trick of her own, while Lois Garlow contributed two goals and Sierra Cockerille was steady all over the field with one goal and two assists. Paisley Cook finished with six draw controls and one goal to round out the scoring. Goalie Paige Crandall continued to reign supreme in the net as she finished with 12 saves on the game. Crandall leads the entire tournament with 34 total saves.

The Haudenosaunee Nationals ran away with their final pool play game using a 5-0 fourth quarter run to defeat Ireland 13-7 and qualify for the quarterfinal rounds at the Nissin Foods 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship at Oi Stadium. The Haudenosaunee offense featured six different goal scorers, led by Avery Doran’s six goals. Jalyn Jimerson added three goals and Sierra Cockerille contributed one goal and four assists for the Nationals. Paisley Cook finished with eight draw controls to ignite the offense. Paige Crandall had another solid day in the crease and finished with eight saves to backstop the defense.
